In the context of the Interregional Cooperation Plan "Marine Environment, Coastal Threats and Fisheries" was organized on 11/10/2023 in Heraklion, on the beach of Ammoudara, an interactive event with children, with the aim of raising their awareness about the protection of the seas through their active participation in recreational activities.
The event included, among others, handicrafts, creating a photo booth, telling tales about the sea and "fish cooking".

| 09:20 | Collection and sorting of waste, with the aim of identifying and separating the waste in the recycling bins. some of them to be used in handicrafts. |
| 09:45 | Art workshop to create marine life. The children's constructions will be placed in a photo booth made of recyclable materials and we will take commemorative photos. |
| 10:45 | Telling stories about the sea with interactive participation of the students. |
